Minister Cynthia Damron

Cynthia was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and relocated to Houston in 1991. Cynthia is married to an ordained minister and has 2 lovely children. Cynthia is a well-rounded, mature, professional woman with a heart filled with joy, and a compassion for others.

As a child in New Orleans, Cynthia pursued religion with a passion and attended services of every denomination searching for a church that fit. This search continued until Cynthia answered her calling and was ordained in October 2001 as a Non-Denominational minister.

"I thought I was searching for myself, but then I realized I was truly searching to help others."

Since then Cynthia has focused her efforts on the needs of others from feeding the hungry as the Director for Meals on Wheels at the JCC to caring for animals at shelters.

Cynthia's view on marriage is a simple mathematical equation:

"Joy is love. Love is marriage. Therefore, marriage is joy."
