Minister James Turner

James was born in 1951 and was raised in Texas by several generations of Texans. He worked in the industrial construction trade for 28 years before he decided to get into the real estate industry. His wife, Lynn, the founder of Weddings Performed, asked if he would like to become ordained and perform weddings because he took pleasure in going with Lynn to her weddings.

Since James enjoyed working with people in real estate, he decided he did want to get involved. He first started out by being the back-up minister in case one of our ministers was hurt or delayed. Then he started getting wedding referrals from couples that he had married.

James truly enjoys meeting new people and finds it a gratifying privilege to be involved with a couple especially on their wedding day.
